Job Title: Account Manager


Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts. This Account Manager will be responsible for OEM customers, as well as Key Accounts as Tier 1. 

Job Responsibilities


  • Sell the company’s products or services.
  • Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices.
  • Be present at customer premises on regular basis.
  • Follow and understand what the customer is using inline with TE Connectivity product portfolio.
  • Promote our product portfolio and gain market share.
  • Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota.
  • May provide guidance to less experienced sales representatives.
  • Represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related matters.
  • Understanding the customer’s business and product requirements.
  • May provide strategic market development reports to marketing management.
  • Observe and report new market price strategies and products to marketing management.
  • Observe competitive activities and reporting to marketing management.
  • Monitor logistics of customer orders in cooperation with inside Sales Correspondents.
  • Support Finance Department for Overdue’s as needed.
  • Increase and maintain contacts to customer development engineering departments to ensure company product applications in the design-in phase of new customer products.
  • Liaise with appropriate internal departments (Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, Purchasing etc.) as needed.
  • Search for new opportunities in the marketplace as well as with existing customers.



What your background should look like:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of progressive sales experience within the Automotive Industry.
  • Work experience in a similar position and/or field related.

  • Full working proficiency in the English language.
