Job Overview

 Position Summary


The Inventory & Logistics Analyst supports global inventory management, logistics operations, and supply chain performance through data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Sourcing, Finance, and Logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, improve material flow, and support operational objectives while maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

Inventory Monitoring & Analysis


•    Monitor finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-process inventory across global manufacturing and distribution sites.
•    Analyze inventory trends using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and ERP-based reporting tools to identify aging, excess, obsolete, high-risk, and high-value inventory.
•    Support achievement of inventory targets, including Days on Hand (DOH), inventory turns, and inventory reduction initiatives.
•    Track and report inventory performance metrics, risks, and action plans.
•    Perform inventory reconciliations and validate inventory-related transactions within ERP systems.
•    Execute and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count programs for finished goods, components, and raw materials.
•    Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and partner with Operations, Planning, and Warehouse teams to implement corrective actions.
•    Prepare and distribute cycle count accuracy reports, inventory adjustment summaries, and inventory control KPI metrics.


Inventory Reviews & Cross-Functional Collaboration


•    Coordinate and facilitate recurring inventory review meetings with manufacturing sites and cross-functional stakeholders.
•    Identify inventory root causes, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and operational reviews.
•    Document action plans, ownership, and timelines while tracking progress to completion.
•    Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Global Sourcing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to support inventory optimization strategies.
•    Provide data-driven recommendations regarding forecast accuracy, supply plans, safety stock levels, and material management strategies.


Logistics & Supply Chain Support


•    Monitor inbound, outbound, and transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.
•    Track shipments from origin to destination and communicate status updates to stakeholders as needed.
•    Review bills of lading and shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance.
•    Support warehouse operations through inventory analysis, receiving, inventory control, material issuance, and finished goods management activities.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
•    Develop, maintain, and enhance inventory dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
•    Support dashboard validation, reporting standardization, and future reporting platform transitions.
•    Prepare concise summaries, presentations, and KPI reports for inventory and operational performance reviews.
•    Utilize SAP, ERP systems, Excel, Power Query, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to analyze and visualize operational data.
•    Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities to improve inventory management, logistics performance, and reporting accuracy.
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process documentation.


Compliance & Administrative Support


•    Support compliance with company policies, EHS requirements, Global Trade Compliance standards, and logistics procedures.
•    Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory reporting, and documentation requirements.
•    Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

What your background should look like

 •    Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Customs Administration, or a related field; or 5 years of related experience within TE Connectivity.
•    2–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, financial analysis, or business analytics.
•    Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookups, and data modeling.
•    Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI; SQL experience preferred.
•    Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $65,400 $98,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
