Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Mold Makers apply knowledge of mold design and construction to the construction, conditioning, modification, repair and maintenance of injection and transfer molds, gauges, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures. In some instances they may fabricate new molds by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Objetivo principal 
Mantener funcionando correctamente los moldes, realizar reportes por escrito y seguir los procedimientos e 
instrucciones de trabajo para garantizar el correcto mantenimiento de los moldes, y la fabricación de piezas a 
través de las máquinas y herramientas, cumpliendo con los requerimientos de control y asegurando el buen uso de 
los recursos de su área mediante la práctica de normas de seguridad y calidad.


•    Preparatoria, Carrera tecnica, Ingenieria 
•    2-3 años en puesto similar como mínimo
•    Conocimientos en Mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para moldes de inyección de Plástico, cambios de insertos a los moldes, mantenerlos limpios y en buenas condiciones.
•    Conocimientos en electricidad, hidráulica y neumática.
•    Conocimientos en creación de 3D model en Solidworks/Mastercam/CAD software.
•    Conocimiento interpretación de dibujos, calculación con trigonometría.
•    Conocimientos de programación y manejo de máquinas de CNC y convencionales.
•    Fabricar partes, fixturas a través de las máquinas y herramientas (torno, rectificadora, fresadora)
•    Conocimiento de soldadura preferiblemente TIG, MIG, soldadora de arco.
•    Conocimiento de normas IATF 16949 e ISO 14001
