Job Overview

Responsible for Assembly areas at plant level. She/he has to ensure the attainment of the operational goals in the production area as well as to ensure the implementation of Devices vision & strategy. Manages all production operations and ensures compliance with all relevant policies of his area, including production, inspection, quality, storage, maintenance, environment, safety, resources, and security. Responsible, in close cooperation with the site manager, for meeting production schedules, shipping schedules, maintaining quality, controlling manufacturing costs, implementing continuous improvement and promoting good employee and community relations within his area.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, Master's Degree preferred

DMAIC Six Sigma Master Black Belt preferred

10 to 15 years of professional experience with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering and economical knowledge.

Previous experience in leading operations in multiple value stream level is essential.

Strong background in Lean practices, experience in using value stream mapping and implementing TEOA tools, such as:  5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM essential.

Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management

Strong team leader

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results

Analytically minded and data-driven to have a holistic overview of complex situations.

Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English.

Working knowledge of cables, arnessess, assembly, manufacturing processes, engineering and NPI.

Working knowledge of organization and company transactional processes
