Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Trade Compliance Teams interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:
1. Direclty involved of the daily Import and Exports for the site of Hermosillo, managed by Mexico GTS Team
a) Ensures Annex 24 is updated with FTC US data for GTS team to elaborate the documents necessary for the Border crossing process
b) Ensures the US information is correctly applied in the Border crossing documents. Said information is managed by ADM US ITCO
b.1. International Foreign Trade Agreements
b.2. US HTS, Schedule B
b.3. ECCN, DSP Licenses
c. Assuring that imports and exports of the company are compliant with customs import regulations
d. Review of PO, RMA and the accuracy of these to reflect the correct information in the Import and/or Export invoices

2. CTPAT compliance for Hermosillo site
a) Ensures Imports and Exports operations are in Compliance with the CTPAT procedures managed by the Legal Supervisor

3. Duty payment and NAFTA Metrics control
a) With US Brokers' information, ensures the Duty avoidance programs managed by GTS Team are correctly applied
b) Gathers internal information and manages NAFTA compliance on Hermosillo site with the help of the FTA software of GTS

4. ITAR and EAR compliance for the Hermosillo site
a) In coordination with the US ADM Licensing specialist, ensures the ITAR and EAR manufacturing license agreements, export license applications are in place where corresponds
b) Works with US ADM Licensing Specialist on the activation, management, and close-out of agreements and licenses. 
c) Ensure compliance with exemption and exception usage, terms and conditions of approved export authorizations 
d) Oversees MLA update for Hermosillo site

5. Supports Self Assessment of the Hermosillo site
a) Supports the Legal supervisor on the follow up of open actions on the results of the ADM ITC Self assessment preformed by US ADM Analyst

6. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of authorization processes
a) Improve the quality and accuracy of authorizations-related metrics and logging/recordkeeping practices

7. Harmonize TE authorizations-related operations.

8. Possess written and verbal communication skills in both English and local language

9. Needs business software skills, including databases, spreadsheets, and website applications.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Relations or similar field
- +3 years of experience
- Proficient written and spoken English
