Job Overview
Supports the development and execution of commodity strategy for the procurement team and drives the leading indicators like savings pipeline.

- Experience in at least one of the commodity category: TEIS – Services / HR Services.
- Good understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms

Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing weekly regional commodity calls with Commodity Management and buyers
- Go-To person in case buyers have commodity specific questions
- Support and partner with Commodity Management towards strategic projects and business planning and forecasting (prioritization of opportunities based on Saving Potential v/s Effort Required)
- CE’s are expected to help identify projects through spend analytics and opportunity identification
- CE‘s manage strategic and sourcing projects as assigned by Commodity Management and upon approval of project charter detailing scope, milestones, objectives, timeline
- Manage end-to-end own sourcing project from ideation to contract execution and ordering
- Sourcing activities to be based on the guidelines in the commodity playbook and other relevant documentation (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Set selection criteria for the suppliers to be invited in RFX’s
- Understand suppliers and their capabilities
- Enforce use and acceptance of TE contract templates with all suppliers
- Collecting supplier quotations
- Comparing supplier offered prices and proposals
- Calculate savings as per the quotations
- Agree on which supplier to select with Commodity Management and/or Stakeholders
- Report productivity in relevant system
- Manage own contracts (redlining, alignment with stakeholders, negotiation with suppliers, interaction with Legal dept.) up to final execution
- Ensure executed contracts are properly uploaded in the contract repository
- Support implementing new contracts, and uploading metadata to contract database
- Participate in Global/Regional Commodity supplier review and internal meetings with TE Stakeholders as required
- Provide commodity specific training to new joiners (buyers)
- Ensure compliance with applicable TE policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine
- Build relationship with key stakeholders including suppliers
- Build strong relationship with Commodity Management & Buyers
- Attend team meetings and trainings as required.
Job Requirements

- Good Experience in Indirect Procurement (5+ years)
- Previous experience in Strategic Sourcing, commodity management specialist, category buye preferred
- Good of MS office; very good Excel and other relevant tools for the function
- SAP PR2, S/4
- Good communication and organization skills
- Contract Management Literacy
- Very good English language skills in speech and writing + additional language on top preferred
- Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Good command of other languages is a very important asset

Contract Type: Remote (Only México).
- Candidates located in Hermosillo will be consider under a Hybrid contract.
