Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment.
At least 5 years in supervisory roles within manufacturing settings.

In-depth knowledge of related areas such as Molding (Thermoplastic, Silicone/LSR), including equipment functionality, process understanding, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Product Maintenance and Improvement
Lead efforts to sustain and enhance existing products throughout their lifecycle.
Consistently generate innovative and unique solutions to meet departmental goals.
Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product reliability and performance.
Develop and execute product sustaining plans.
2. Problem Resolution
Investigate and resolve technical issues reported from the field or manufacturing.
Perform root cause analyses and implement effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product-related challenges.
Respond promptly to defects and unplanned production downtimes due to equipment or process issues, ensuring quick resumption of production.
Lead root cause investigations for process issues and implement corrective measures.
3. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all sustaining activities comply with ISO standards and company policies.
Review and develop procedures to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with change orders.
Collaborate with production to develop and update standard operating procedures, production processes, and technical drawings.
Participate in regulatory audits and inspections as required.
4. Process Improvement
Optimize product designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
Review and revise documentation to maintain accuracy and integrate changes.
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Evaluate and improve existing product flows and explore new technologies, including automation, to enhance quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and cost-efficiency.
5. Project Management
Lead sustaining engineering projects from concept through completion.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Provide regular progress updates to management and key stakeholders.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Attend daily shift meetings and communicate updates across departments.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve component-related issues.
Mentor junior engineers and offer technical guidance to team members.
Support product development and technology transfer, ensuring proper installation and performance of new processes and equipment.
Conduct verification and validation of new or modified processes to confirm capability.
Perform additional functions as assigned based on business needs.
