  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the Manufacturing Engineering team, providing engineering support to manufacturing department and operators
  • Working with cross functional teams to ensure manufacturing engineering practices adhere to Quality Management System and customer specifications 
  • Assisting in the development of strategies concerning process/product development timelines, and project priorities
  • Providing leadership in planning, managing, and coordinating engineering operations to ensure that scheduled projects are completed at optimum costs, consistent with safety and quality requirements, for on-time delivery to customers
  • Planning, developing, implementing and improving manufacturing methods, processes, and documents for new and existing products to ensure on time delivery of proto types, first time jobs and projects for manufacturing
  • Leading cost saving and process improvement initiatives across all production operations, achieving established productivity targets
  • Managing capital improvement projects
  • Implementing process controls to prevent and/or detect process failures and ensure process continues to operate as originally validated
  • Liaising with Engineering Council and other – TE Operating Advantage members to align with TE best practices





What your background should look like:


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering and people management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills who can work across various functions
  • Due to ITAR regulations, U.S. Citizenship and/or Permanent Resident is required


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP
  • Experience with relay products
  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry
