Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, coordination of site visitors in accordance with ITAR/EAR compliance, overseeing site access/security, travel arrangements, employee identification badges, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents. This position reports to the Sr. Manager Operations.

 

The Administrative Assistant II plays a central role in supporting the site through direct administrative support to the Sr. Manager of Operations and assists with program coordination and communication for the site. Success in this position requires a proactive approach to anticipating and meeting the needs of the Sr. Manager Operations, and, equally, becoming a critical “go-to” person and to liaise with other function operations and support leaders. We’re looking for an individual who is a self-starter, focused on results and committed to making a difference. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage a complex calendar.
  • Coordinate and arrange visitors in accordance with ITAR/EAR compliance
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and schedules.
  • Oversee site access/security
  • Prepare employee identification badges
  • Schedule conference calls, on-site/off-site meetings, telepresence meetings, and webcasts.
  • Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Proficiency in making power point presentations
  • Type, edit and proofread documents and correspondence
  • Maintain organizational charts
  • Maintain electronic records and SharePoint sites.
  • Manage sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate both internal and external communications.
  • Team player - assist and provide coverage in other areas as needed.
  • Expense reports review and submission.
  • Support and track approvals for various internal workflows such as travel requests and purchase requisitions.
  • Assist with events, communications and coordination for Employee Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity, etc. for the site

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years in an administrative capacity
  • Experience working for a large corporation desired and preferred.
  • Must have advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.

ITAR

 

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
