Job Overview

The Head of Data & AI Adoption is an enterprise leadership role responsible for accelerating the adoption of Data and AI capabilities across the organization. This role defines and drives the enterprise adoption strategy to ensure investments in Data & AI platforms translate into measurable business value.

 

The position focuses on enterprise engagement, platform adoption, organizational change, and value realization for enterprise data and AI capabilities. The role ensures that enterprise platforms, data assets, and AI solutions are effectively embedded into business processes and decision-making.

 

Working closely with business and segment leaders, Data Product Owners, and functional leaders, the Head of Data & AI Adoption establishes enterprise frameworks that enable scalable adoption of data and AI capabilities as part of the OneData program. The role partners closely with AI Literacy and business enablement leaders, who are responsible for business-level capability building and role-based learning.

 

Serving as the bridge between enterprise Data & AI strategy and organizational adoption, this leader ensures that enterprise capabilities are understood, adopted, and delivering impact across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Enterprise Adoption Strategy & Execution

  • Define and lead the enterprise Data & AI adoption strategy aligned with business priorities and enterprise transformation goals.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise Data & AI adoption roadmap
  • Translate enterprise Data & AI strategy into actionable adoption frameworks
  • Identify barriers to adoption and implement strategies to accelerate value realization
  • Partner with enterprise leadership to ensure alignment between strategic priorities and adoption initiatives

 

Platform Adoption & Enablement

  • Lead enterprise adoption strategies for core data and AI platforms
  • Partner with platform engineering and product teams to align adoption with platform capabilities
  • Establish enterprise enablement frameworks that support scalable platform usage
  • Ensure enterprise teams can effectively leverage data and AI capabilities within business workflows

 

Other Key Responsibilities

 

Organizational Change & Enablement

  • Design and execute a comprehensive Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy to support enterprise-wide OneData Adoption.
  • Align executive sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies to drive sustained behavioral change.
  • Establish enterprise data & AI adoption maturity frameworks and partner with business AI literacy leaders to implement domain-level capability acceleration plans.
  • Implement structured self-service enablement frameworks that empower business users while maintaining compliance with enterprise governance standards.
  • Establish continuous feedback mechanisms to evaluate adoption effectiveness and proactively address barriers.
  • Collaborate with Project Management lead to ensure milestones are set to drive effective organizational change management based on aligned dates.

 

Adoption Measurement & Value Realization

  • Establish clear metrics to measure and accelerate enterprise Data & AI adoption.
  • Define enterprise adoption KPIs and success metrics
  • Monitor platform usage, adoption maturity, and business value realization
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting on adoption progress
  • Identify opportunities to scale high-impact use cases and increase adoption

 

Enterprise Engagement & Communications

  • Drive enterprise engagement to increase awareness and adoption of Data & AI capabilities.
  • Develop enterprise communication strategies that promote Data & AI initiatives
  • Lead internal storytelling and value narratives demonstrating business impact
  • Promote adoption through enterprise engagement campaigns and leadership communications
  • Amplify successful AI and data use cases across the organization, and how ways of working with evolve with the OneData program

 

Collaboration with AI Literacy & Business Leaders

  • Partner closely with business and segment leaders to ensure enterprise adoption strategies translate into domain-level adoption.
  • Collaborate with AI literacy leaders responsible for business-level capability development
  • Align enterprise adoption frameworks with role-based learning and business enablement initiatives
  • Support business leaders in identifying opportunities to embed Data & AI into operational processes
  • Ensure enterprise and business adoption efforts are aligned and mutually reinforcing

 

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration across enterprise data, AI, and business teams
  • Promote alignment between enterprise strategy and operational execution
  • Champion responsible, scalable use of Data & AI across the organization

What your background should look like:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Data, AI, Digital Transformation, or enterprise technology environments, with demonstrated success scaling initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Bachelor degree in Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide data & AI adoption, including organizational change management in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong executive influence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms, AI lifecycle governance, responsible AI principles, and modern analytics ecosystems (e.g., cloud-based data and AI platforms such as Databricks).
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience linking technology investments to revenue growth, productivity improvement, margin expansion, or risk reduction.

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Background in both strategy and operational execution.
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $108,800 – $163,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
