The AD&M business unit within TE Connectivity has a great opportunity for a qualified Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) Analyst to lead our EHS efforts at two locations – Paxton Street, Harrisburg and 2900 Fulling Mill Rd, Middletown, PA.  This position will report into the AD&M Test Engineering Manager at Paxton St and is responsible for guiding building EH&S programs as well as TE Corporate and AD&M business unit level EH&S initiatives to establish a zero injury and environmental defect culture.


  • Provide a working interface between the facility, Business Unit Management and the Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Department.
  • Develop policies, standards and procedures and work with management to ensure uniform compliance with regards to federal, state, local and company regulations throughout the facility.
  • uccessful Management of the Contractor Safety Program by ensuring constant attention to contractor permits and risk assessments during routine maintenance activities.  
  • Serve as facilitator of the safety committee and ensure that safety committee members are engaged in overall EHS management of the facility.
  • Coordinate reporting, tracking, root cause and trend analysis of workplace incidents, injuries and illnesses as well as environmental incidents. 
  • Work with management to set short (annual) and long term (3-5 year) goals for safety, health and environmental system improvements which include suitable reductions in injury and illness and environmental incidents. Facilitate and direct efforts to meet or exceed the goals.
  • Work with site resources to plan, administer and track multiple safety programs including hazardous communication, contractor safety, machine guarding, behavioral based safety, powered industrial truck, ergonomics, and other safety policies/procedures.
  • Facilitate and provide guidance and expertise in safety, health and environmental activities such as workplace inspections, new/existing equipment risk assessments, and industrial hygiene surveys.  
  • Manage facility environmental permits, track annual energy reduction projects and monthly environmental metrics. 
  • Responsible for developing, planning, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the EH&S management system tool.
  • Oversee the management of change (MOC) process to include any process changes, and new or transferred equipment.


What your background should look like:




  • This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Safety Science or other related technical field and 3-5 years of EH&S working experience preferred (Entry level applicants will be considered if education qualifications have been met)
  • Need to be involved in the chemical waste management process.
  • Experience managing contractor safety programs
  • Behavioral Based Safety experience
  • Previous knowledge of environmental permitting
  • Working knowledge of industrial ergonomics
  • Written and verbal communication skills to facilitate communication with Business Unit Management, laboratory staff, and shop floor personnel including ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to prioritize issues, analyze situations and implement effective corrective actions.
