Job Overview

The Sr. Manager, EHS is responsible for all activities related to environmental, safety and health in the Aerospace, Defense and Marine Business Unit related to technical EHS support and support for the Connectors sites. The expectation of the Sr. Manager, EHS will be to focus on a data driven, continuous improvement approach to drive EHS strategy and project management.

Job Requirements

  • You will be responsible for executing EHS & Sustainability Strategy and supporting those actions within a defined business unit.
  • Oversight for facilities related items for safety, environmental compliance and sustainability opportunities.
  • Development and site guidance for preventative maintenance items on equipment and facilities overlapping with EHS and sustainability.
  • Supporting in program management of functional safety projects across sites.
  • The individual will make decisions and prioritize actions based on sound data analysis.
  • Travel will be expected to be up to 20-30% of the role (domestic and international)
    • Traveling to all ADM facilities:MEXICO, UK FRANCE, INDIA and US (PA, NY, NC AND OHIO)
  • Works closeling with Operations 

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's or Master´s Degree in Safety or Environmental Sciences, Energy, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of EHS experience or related experience
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex analysis in a concise manner and to convince others without authority.
  • Good project management skills are a must for this position.
  • You are we well-organized, analytical self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have experience working in manufacturing.
  • Project Management is preferred
  • The ideal candidate should also have technical knowledge: machine guarding, Functional safety and control reliability
  • Nice to have facility experience in manufacturing
  • Certifications are a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $160,400 - $200,500(subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
