Digital Factory Network Global Leader

The Leader of Digital Factory Network will have many opportunities for broad exposure to various  operations, organizations, and BU Leaders of the company.  The Network leader should be a change agent and eager to drive transformation throughout the organization.  This position, when effectively performed, may provide the selected candidate with future leadership opportunities with TE Operations.

This position will most likely be based in Harrisburg PA or Winston Salem NC, and the candidate will experience travel to various TE locations around the globe. 


The Digital Factory Network Global Leader has the responsibilities of:

  • Leading a core and extended team of Digital Factory Development, Business Unit, Manufacturing and Support representatives and meet on a regular cadence.
  • Supporting business units (BU) Digital Factory strategy aligned to their Ops Strategy, identifying and driving cross-BU capabilities to unlock value potential.
  • Facilitate workshops and reviews of capabilities across the business to provide a “Ready to Deploy" solution that can be leveraged across TE.  Drive value creation opportunities of the capabilities. 
  • Active participation in the development of Digital Factory Strategic Initiatives through interactions with key stakeholders,  including leadership councils, leadership teams and individual organization leaders.  In addition, the DF Network leader will prepare and deliver presentations to Senior Executives and other Business Unit Leaders as needed
  • Collaborate with, and understand, various functional areas such as Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Supplier Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Development Engineering, Product Engineering, Finance and others.


  • Eligible candidates are college graduates with  7-10 years of industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, Plastics or Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or other related degrees considered applicable.
  • Experience leading both technical and cultural change through influence
  • Experience in manufacturing, with proven track record of success in plant operations management and/or digital transformation
  • Strong problem solving skills w/ ability to lead a group and train others to do the same
  • Ability to communicate w/ others at all levels; builds rapport quickly;
  • Able to work through ambiguity and define clear direction
  • Strong academic background in Controls, Programming, or Internet of Things (IOT).
  • Experience in PLC Programming, or Electrical/Controls Engineering is desired but not required.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge/experience is desired but not required.
