Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Corporate Strategy Teams develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for our corporation by identifying internal and external strategic isAt TE we strongly believe that data and analytics are strategic drivers for future success. We are investing significantly in building our advanced analytics team. The Analytics team at TE is part of the TE Information Solutions (TEIS) Organization and is responsible for driving organic growth by leveraging big data and advanced analytics. The team reports to the VP and Chief Data Officer at TEIS, works closely with the SVP of Corporate Strategy, and has regular interactions with the company’s C-Suite. This Data Science Manager position will directly report to the Director of Data Science.
We are on an exciting journey to build and scale our advanced analytics practice; in this position you will apply your skills to unlock opportunities and enable top strategic priorities for TE. You will be working on problems that require advanced analytics applications to create value for diverse business functions such as supply chain, pricing, Industrial IOT & digital factory implementation, digital marketing and sales growth, and will impact business units that span through multiple geographic areas.
As a Senior Data Science Manager, you are responsibile for;
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of data scientists in disperse locations
• Own and lead technical solutioning and technical delivery of data science projects, be able to do hands-on if required
• Drive and motivate data scientists to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions leveraging our accelerated innovation operating framework
• Act as an analytics translator between business and data science team to ensure that business problems are clearly understood and developed solutions are adopted by businesses

What your background should look like:
• Master’s in quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience managing data scientists or/and analytics resources
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying enterprise analytics solutions at scale
• Excellent communicator, able to succinctly convey complex technical solutions to non-technical audience, usually to business leaders
