Job Requirements

The Sensors Business unit Function HRBP serves as a business partner and trusted advisor to Function leadership team members and their direct reports. This role will report directly to the VP of Human Resources, Sensors.

 

Key responsibilities include:


Serving as part of the Sensors HR team to deliver strategic talent, organization design, and organizational effectiveness support across the following teams: Sensors Operations across two sites in the US and one in Mexico, Global Strategy, and Global Finance. 

 

 •  Partnering with Function leaders to analyze and prioritize the critical business challenges faced by the organization and drive appropriate HR interventions
•   Coordinating effectively with the HR Solutions organization and HR COEs to effectively deliver the HR services required to drive the business imperatives of the Functions.
•    Contributing to the realization of the HR operating model with the objective of continuously improving HR performance and enhancing HR’s ability to support the Function’s growth goals and objectives
•    Serving as the voice of the business within the Function HR Leadership teams
•    Operate on the HR senior leadership team for Global Sensors to support business wide efforts.
•    This role may be based remotely on the east coast ideally near the Hampton, VA manufacturing site.
•    Supports TE organizational outcomes through strong alignment of HR efforts with balanced enterprise and BU balanced business initiatives.
•    Generates "win-win" strategies to gain support for key initiatives from others across boundaries.
•    Creates a variety of opportunities for HR employees to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and create business partnerships with both internal and external customers.

What your background should look like

 

•    Bachelor degree or above (or local equivalent), HR related major preferred
•    Typically requires minimum 10+ years of professional working experience in HR environment
•    Typically requires minimum 8+ years HR Generalist/HR BP related experience; breadth of HR knowledge and skills in variety of fields in international context
•    Has served as an HR business partner or generalist for organizations with differing business models and complexity, and has demonstrated an ability to develop and drive HR strategies that address the varying needs of these businesses/functions.
•    Roles in other HR disciplines (HR Operations/Comp & Benefits/Talent Management) – that provide both vertical and horizontal exposure and experience.
•    Experience working in global or international organizations
•    Business Acumen (understand how the business works from customers and markets to operations and financial points of view) in creating value for TE.
•    Functional Expertise: Talent Management, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Labor Relations (Works Councils, Unions, labor in various countries)
•    Member of business Management Team• Experience with Organization Design and Talent and Management Development

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $145,600- $181,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
