Job Title: Account Manager - Israel 


Job Overview


TE Connectivity has an Account Manager position available in the Israel region within the Automotive Division business unit. This position has responsibility of managing key customer accounts and the overall day-to-day business relationship between TE and Start-Ups accounts in Israel. The Account Manager will report to the Sr. Sales Manager New OEM & Start-Ups and will be responsible for strategy development, promoting TE products and solutions, building and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned territory. Also, the Account Manager will work together with all Automotive team members to support responsible growth and new program launches to drive maximum penetration of TE’s products and customer satisfaction.

 

Job Responsibilities


•    Actively manage and support New Emerging customers in Israel (Start-Ups)
•    Develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels in the customer base to position TE as a strategic partner to the customer in this space of E-Mobility, Autonomous mobility and Smart mobility
•    Maintain a high level of awareness in regards to industry trends and competitive activity within the territory
•    Be the single point of contact for the customer to enhance technical communications between customer and TE engineering, product management and sales team
•    Provide technical presentation, training and support to the customer
•    Work closely with the customer to achieve the following objectives:
•    Understand their technology trends and future product requirements 
•    Provide voice of customer for engineering team in developing new Design-Ins 
•    Capture the opportunity in its earliest stage that a TE product can be designed-In
•    Propose practical solutions which can be designed into a specific product by interpreting and conveying customer’s design specifications / requirements to engineering teams
•    Ensure program timing is met by fully understanding customer requirements, due dates etc. and managing internal actions to ensure timelines are met
•    Document all program activity via SalesForce.com system
•    Effectively communicate with all other Automotive team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth

 

Qualifications


Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent

 

Key Requirements


•    Min 3-5 years sales or directly related experience in the Automotive Industry
•    Good technical background in connector design, manufacturing and/or its application
•    Strong customer service orientation
•    Proven skills in developing/implementing strategies in support of market segments, customers and products consistent with the overall business plan
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority
•    Willingness to travel on a regular basis 
•    Native language Hebrew 
•    Strong English verbal and written communication skills in English, including presentation and computer skills (i.e. Power Point, Excel, Word). 
•    Good SalesForce.com knowledge
•    Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
•    Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
•    Ability and willingness to travel as required
