SUPV III GLOBAL TRADE COMPLIANCE

Responsibilities:

 

                                                        

 

1. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the programs or based on instructions received and compliance with the scope set.

 

2. Identify problems and communicate timely to the Manager and provide several alternatives for the solution.

 

3. Manage, supervise and coordinate the efforts of the departments of the company to carry out in timely the import/export of the goods until they are delivered at the destination point, according with the methods preset by the company and in accordance with customs law.

 

4. Provide guidance and support to the team.

 

5. Responsible for keeping the necessary records and monitoring the implementation of Inventory Control System (Annex 24), as Maquiladora Company it's obliged to submit to the relevant authorities and ensure compliance of the activities.

 

6. Responsible of reviewing cost analysis for raw materials and the finished product (BOM´s).

 

7. Review and update master data on Import/Export System, mainly the following information: costs, tariff code, country of origin, origin qualification, description, part number, BOM´s.

 

8. Responsible for the compliance of the non-tariff regulation: import license/permits, NOM´s, previous notices, among others.

 

9. Monitor the documentary archives of the foreign trade operations.

 

10. Monitor the complete capture of pediments on Import/Export System.

 

11. Perform self-audits on foreign trade compliance and on the established processes for the import/export operation. Support the manager in case an external audit is notified.

 

12. Reconciliation of the MX Customs Trade data.

 

13. Ensure that the established cycle times are meet.

 

14. Escalate issues regarding to customs trade matter to Manager.

 

15. Monitor and evaluate the work of the sourcing and customs agent.

 

16. Elaborate metrics requested by the client and internal metrics.

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

 

 

1. International Business Degree, Foreign Affairs or related.

 

2. Minimum 5 years of work experience in areas of International Purchasing International Traffic or having worked in areas related to foreign trade during his career.

 

3. Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in IMMEX, Inventory control systems, balance reconciliations, BOM, scrap control, regularizations, duty payment, change of regime, fixed assets control, virtual operations requirements.

 

4. Must be fluent in English.

 

5. Excellent Knowledge: Customs Legislation, Tariff and non-tariff regulations, Annex 24, IMMEX program.

 

6. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

 

7. Excellent analytical skills.

 

8. Excellent problem-solving skills.
