Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering, analyze, design and develop production processes for the introduction of new products or transfer from one site to another under the necessary requirements and standards, ensuring a successful launch and increasing the productivity levels of the plant, contributing to the achievement of established goals, ensuring the good use of the resources in your area through the practice of safety and quality standards established under the company's standards.

What your background should look like:

KEY RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Analyze, design and develop production processes for the introduction of new products or transfer from one site to another under the necessary requirements and standards, ensuring a successful launch and increasing the productivity levels of the plant, contributing to the achievement of established goals, ensuring good use of the resources in your area by practicing the safety and quality standards established under the company's standards.
  • Release of projects under the requirements established in a timely manner.
  • Increase in productivity and efficiency of assigned production processes.
  • Improvements in the production process.
  • Product transfers / production lines and / or introduction of new products (NPI)
  • Line balancing
  • Study of times
  • Layout design in production line
  • Review of SCRAP reports and rejections.
  • Carry out additional activities required to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Establish operational procedures (PMC, CT, visual aids, etc.)
  • Part Number Certification
  • Training support on the procedures, tools, specifications and methods of the area required
  • Participate in operational meetings prior to release to the sustaining team
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company and its processes.
  • Collaborate in APQP procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Industrial Engineer / Mechatronics / Electronics
  • 5 + years of experience in similar position.
  • 5 + years of experience in electrical test.
  • SAP Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Core Tools.
  • Documentation: Valid Visa / Passport
  • Knowledge: ISO 9000 / ISO / TS 16949 / ISO 14001 / ISO- 13485 FMEA, QMS Procedures
  • Computational Skills: Management of Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point, Word, Project.
  • Languages: Spanish / English 90%
