Job Overview

The Global Supplier Sustainability and Product Compliance Leader role is a position which is accountable for leading TE Sensors supply base to meet sustainability and product environmental compliance requirements. This role will work within our Global Supply Chain Transformation team and will develop the required strategy as well as facilitate implementation of strategic initiatives between suppliers and internal team members in various geographic regions and functions in order achieve the sustainability and compliance performance outcome. The position will be a subject matter expert within the organization and will collaborate with other subject matter experts across the TE enterprise to build the necessary mindset and culture to achieve sustainability and product compliance success. Sustainability includes Product Carbon Footprint availability and Carbon Reduction Initiatives. Product Compliance includes REACH, RoHS, LowHal, IRS, Conflict Minerals.

 

Responsibilities

As Global Supplier Sustainability and Product Compliance Leader your responsibilities would include:

  • Develop, Lead, and Execute Supplier Sustainability and Product Compliance Strategy
  • Facilitate External Suppliers and Internal Cross-Functional Teams to Develop and Implement Supplier Carbon Reduction Initiatives
  • Enable Internal Subject Matter Expert’s to Train and Implement Product Carbon Footprint Calculations with External Suppliers
  • Lead Supplier Compliance and Drive Supplier Outreach for Response to Supplier Surveys including REACH, RoHS, LowHal, IRS, Conflict Minerals.
  • Engage with TE Sensors Global Procurement Category Leaders and Suppliers in Supplier Business Reviews to enable sustainability and compliance improvement plans
  • Integrate sustainability and product compliance into long term supplier Category Strategies
  • Build Robust Sustainability and Compliance Processes to Proactively Achieve Results – Including in New Product Introduction phase
  • Present supplier sustainability and compliance status and actions to senior leadership
  • Communicate key focus areas and deadlines across functional teams
  • Subject matter expert and key contact in escalation in order to determine correct action to achieve performance

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ Years experience working within a business environment
  • Knowledge of Product Compliance - REACH, RoHS, LowHal, IRS, Conflict Minerals
  • Knowledge of Sustainability-  Product Carbon Footprints and Reduction Initiatives
  • Excellent verbal communicator who is confident working at various levels of an organization
  • Motivated individual who aggressively works to improve metrics and has the ability to learn quickly in a self-directed work environment with minimal supervision
  • Emerging Leader with ability to take ownership of actions and drive to closure
  • Desires to work in a global environment
  • Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking English language
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, or other related disciplines.
