Job Overview
The Senior Reliability & Testing Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing reliability and validation test activities for DDN Power and Cable Assembly products across the NPI lifecycle. This role focuses on translating project-level Reliability and Validation Strategies into detailed, executable test plans and ensuring disciplined execution with internal labs, external test houses, and cross-functional teams. The Senior Reliability & Testing Engineer plays a critical role in schedule, cost, and status tracking, enabling Project Leaders and Reliability Engineers to make timely, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Test Planning & Coordination
Break down high-level Reliability and Validation Strategies into detailed, executable test plans.
Define test sequencing, sample allocation, logistics needs, and schedule alignment.
Coordinate with internal R&T labs, shared labs, suppliers, and third-party test houses for test execution.
• Test Execution & Tracking
Manage test readiness including sample build status, configuration control, and documentation completeness.
Coordinate sample logistics, shipment, and handling with manufacturing, suppliers, and test labs.
Support PO release, cost tracking, and budget adherence for validation and reliability testing.
Maintain accurate test status, schedules, costs, and results in the project management system.
• Reporting & Documentation
Create and maintain detailed test plans aligned with approved validation strategies.
Collect, organize, and review test data from labs and suppliers for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare and issue test reports for validation and reliability tests in accordance with R&T standards.
Ensure traceability between test requirements, execution, and reported results.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with R&T Project Leaders to support execution of reliability and validation strategies.
Interface with Reliability Engineers, PDE, MPDE, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams.
Proactively identify risks, schedule constraints, and execution gaps and escalate as needed.

Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related technical discipline.
-3–6 years of experience in test coordination, validation testing, reliability testing, or engineering project support.
-Solid understanding of reliability and validation test environments including environmental, mechanical, and electrical testing.
-Experience coordinating with internal labs, external test houses, and suppliers.
-Strong organizational and project tracking skills with high attention to detail.
-Ability to manage multiple tests and priorities in parallel.
-Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
-Hands-on background in reliability or validation testing.
-Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA, IEC, IPC, ISTA, or customer-specific validation requirements.
-Experience using project management or test tracking systems.
-Experience supporting data center power, cable, or connector products.
