Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and authority

  • Supervise and schedule the activities of the personnel under your charge, working with quality and safety in the maintenance of the equipment.
  • Maintain the operation and availability of the equipment assigned to your area.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the maintenance program.
  • Detect training / coaching needs and provide technical support to the education of the personnel under your charge.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs.
  • Elaboration of Maintenance Programs and Procedures.
  • Define the Maintenance activities in coordination with the Departments.
  • Follow up on downtime implementing improvements to reduce them.
  • Track and communicate KPI to management team.
  • Check that preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance are applied correctly.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams for the preparation of PPAP, APQP, PSW, 8'Ds.
  • Participate in the implementation and modification for improvements in the machinery and equipment of the processes.
  • Participate as a member of a continuous improvement committee.
  • Promote among technicians the fulfillment of significant environmental objectives in their work areas and continuous improvement
  • Responsible for informing technicians of the environmental policy and environmental objectives
  • Authority to stop a process in which there is a possibility of damaging the environment and/or which is outside of legal environmental compliance.

General Requirements:

  • Maintenance Engineer, Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • +5 years of experience in a similar position preferred
  • Intermediate SAP and MS Office
  • Hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and control systems.
  • Basic electronics
  • Basic sensors
  • Mastery of Lean 4DX Tools
  • Intermediate English
  • Spill control and chemical handling
  • Electrical safety
  • Safety guards and LOTO
  • Locking and tagging
  • Systems management: TRESS, HYDRA, VELOCITE.
  • Troubleshooting tools
  • RCA and corrective actions
