Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Management
Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime.
Supervise execution of work orders and verify repair quality.
Implement and manage the maintenance system (SAP).
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance materials.
Evaluate and recommend equipment and spare part purchases.
2. Leadership & Supervision
Lead and develop the maintenance technician team.
Assign daily tasks and prioritize activities based on criticality.
Train staff on technical procedures and safety standards.
3. Continuous Improvement & Reliability
Analyze recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma).
Establish and track maintenance KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).
Optimize maintenance processes to reduce costs and downtime.
Implement condition-based maintenance strategies.
4. Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations (OSHA, NOM).
Conduct risk analyses and promote a strong safety culture.
Guarantee adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Maintain maintenance records for audits and certifications.
Coordinate work permits for restricted areas.
