Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Facilities Team conduct facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing and/or real estate coordination. They work closely and provide advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities.

Responsabilities & Qualifications

Essential Functions: 

Execution and Control of maintenance services to the different equipment and systems under the operations of the facilities department such as:
- Operation and administration of security cameras.
- Operation of access controls and CCTV
- Electrical maintenance.
- Compressed air systems.
- Air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Domestic water systems hydropneumatics systems.
- Maintenance of the building in general.
- Fire protection systems.
- Cold Water Systems
- Lighting systems
- UPS

It is also considered operation and control of building management systems such as:
 - Trane Tracer (Control of air conditioning equipment).
- Power Logic (electrical energy measurements).

Operational administration of the SAP system for the planning and administration of preventive and corrective maintenance and service orders.
 Annual Budgeting.
Management and savings monitors, project execution, and attention services to the different business units.
 Evaluate, budgeting and selections of contractor for PM services.

Demonstrates a high level of expertise in Preventive, corrective and predictive Maintenance services.

Assures results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures (both Corporate and BU related ones).
 

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Industrial, Energy
•    3 - 5 Years of Maintenance services operation experience. 
•    Good analytical skills to solve mechanical and electrical problems 


Leadership: 
•    Delegate and coordinate maintenance, budgeting, services, and corrective activities with Facilities Technicians.
•    Create, develop and prepare training and developments plans for technicians, supervisor and facilities supports guidance to them, be a mentor, and guide the growth of them. 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

•    High level of mechanical and electrical Skills for analysis and solve problems
•    3 - 4 years of Maintenance services Operation.
•    Availability for work over time, shift changes, and attend urgency out of labor hours 
•    Supervision and revision of contractor activities.
•    Delegate, coordinate, and training technicians.
•    Able to work under stress, organized, results oriented. 
•    Knowledge of Facilities Services is a plus (Facility construction/maintenance).
•    Have the ability to deal and negotiate with clients and understand their needs well


•    Success Factors: Ability to understand internal customer needs, agility to learn, discretion, ability to establish relationships.
