Job Overview
Member of the Automotive North America S&OP Team will manage capacity and supply planning for assigned manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for analyzing and facilitating the implementation of capital improvements required to maintain production capability to meet all customer requirements within the long-range planning horizon.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze all machine, press and tool capacity monthly, identify constraints and recommend capacity solutions that satisfy long term demand.
• Lead Capacity Consensus meetings involving all stakeholders to kick off capacity expansion projects as needed.
• Create simulations to show the impact of new assets on the long-term capacity of the site. Includes creating charts to project recovery timing from the constrained situation.
• Facilitate monthly S&OP Supply Review meetings for the manufacturing site.
• Capacity Requirements Planning expert for site.
• Liaise with site Materials and MPS teams to align supply plans between the S&OE and S&OP horizons.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain
• Minimum three years of Supply Chain experience
• Production Planning and/or Master Scheduling experience highly desired
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting across all levels of the organization
• Solid standard software knowledge (MS Office) especially in Excel (Pivot tables, data compilation, graphs, formulas, etc).
• Experience in SAP
o IBP is a plus
• S&OP experience is desirable
