Job Overview
TE Connectivity's downstream supply chain analyst will be a member of Automotive Americas supply chain design team. As a Downstream Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing the supply chain processes within the downstream segment of our business. The right candidate will be motivated by building collaborative relationships with the customer, leading cross-functional supply chain projects, and proactively identifying and executing strategies that support improved service, a reduction in cost-to-serve, and an overall enhanced customer experience that enables sales growth.
What your background should look like:
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and lead projects to optimize downstream supply chain operations between TE and our customers, ensuring efficient and timely product delivery.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor external factors such as market trends & regulatory changes that may impact the supply chain.
- Stay informed about industry best practices & emerging technology.
- Value chain mapping for NPI and perform risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Identify customers end-point of usage including mapping of physical touchpoints, usage patterns and developing user personas.
- Optimize cost-to-serve.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers and within TE.
- Develop utilization of 3rd party for downstream supply chain services.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in downstream supply chain operations, customer care, account management or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Certification or course work in project management preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain especially logistics and warehousing operations US,MX and Central America.
- Knowledge of supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Proficient English and Spanish at a professional environment
