Job Overview

We are seeking a resourceful Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Global Supplier Tooling Management, to develop, deploy and 
implement a global supplier tooling lifecycle management process and strategy.  Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Global 
Supplier Development & Performance, you will be driving tooling KPIs, technical discussions, cost estimates and 
negotiating cost-effective contracts with key suppliers. 

What your background should look like


  
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or in a related field. 
• Master’s degree in business or specialization in advanced procurement management will be advantageous. 
• At least four years' tooling and procurement experience in a related industry. 
• Proficiency in sourcing software, such as SAP and e-Sourcing tools. 
• Proven success in Project Management, with PjM certification being an advantage. 
• Superb leadership and communication skills. 
• Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities. 
• Willingness to travel 25-50% to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships 

 

Strategic Sourcing Analyst Responsibilities: 
  
• Defining, deploying, and executing the AD&M Global Supplier Tooling Lifecycle Management Strategy by 
category and technology. 
• Develop annual supplier Capex plan for tooling that is prioritized based on tool condition, lifecycle, cavitation, 
etc. 
• Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval. 
• Analyzing and calculating tool costs and developing cost reduction strategies. 
• Driving purchasing decisions based on cost, capacity, and capability scenario analysis, as well as market trends. 
• Supporting insourcing/outsourcing Operations initiatives from technical as well as commercial standpoint. 
• Supporting Manufacturing Engineering as well as NPI in identifying potential sources to cover tech/localization 
GAPS.  
• Builds up flexibility agreements with molding suppliers in alignment with AD&M Commodity Managers, in order 
to allow quick moves. 
• Collaborating with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities. 
• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts. 
• Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with 
industry regulations. 
• Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.
