Job Overview
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst for Stamping CL will contribute to the strategic direction, development, and management of the Stamping category across TE Connectivity. The role will require a strong focus on critical aspects of the business, including developing long-term strategies to support TE’s growth and manufacturing footprint, make vs. buy decisions, regional supplier segmentation, enterprise productivity, supplier development in key growth areas, process improvement, and quality optimization.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Stamping category that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals
• Determine the most appropriate Make vs. Buy strategy for the Stamping category and implement it in collaboration with TE’s Segments, Business Units, and cross-functional teams
• Lead the long-term strategy for the Stamping category and oversee its implementation, including identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion
• Segment suppliers based on regional needs and collaborate with business units to develop and implement supplier development plans
• Optimize the manufacturing footprint for the Stamping category to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Implement enterprise productivity initiatives across the Stamping category to drive cost savings and improve overall performance
• Develop supplier relationships in key growth areas and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier alignment with the company's strategic objectives
• Drive process improvement and quality optimization initiatives across the Stamping category to ensure the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver the best value for the company and our customers
What your background should look like:
This position will have responsibility for developing, executing, and maintaining Sourcing commodity strategies and processes within the Americas region. Responsible for developing cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders that deliver commodity strategies and productivity in support of business requirements and goals while driving synergies across the Americas region.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of sourcing, strategic sourcing processes, negotiation experience
• Experience in commodity management of Stamping (R2R & loose piece) & Plating
• Demonstrated experience with leveraged agreements, multi-year contracts
• Strong data mining and analysis skill-set
• Proactive, positive communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute a vision, as well as an ability to work within larger organizational objectives
• Ability to build consensus across multiple organizations and all levels of the enterprise
• Capable of moving past barriers and building out bridges to new customers
• Self-directed & motivated
• Capable of independently leading multiple projects simultaneously

• BA/BS in Business or other relevant discipline. 3+ years of relevant Sourcing experience
