Job Overview

Leads the overall manufacturing operation with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, people development, and business performance. Responsible for translating business strategy into operational execution while driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and organizational capability. Oversees manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, planning, EHS, maintenance, facilities, and new product introduction functions to achieve world-class operational results, leading end-to-end manufacturing operations

Job Requirements

  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
  • Analyze workflow, labor and equipment to maximize efficiency, meet production targets, customer delivery commitments, and quality requirements.
  • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Establish and operate the plant in a safe and environmentally sound manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Own area budget and operating plan. Drive profitability, productivity improvements, and return-on-investment decisions.
  • Build high-performing teams and leadership pipelines.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement in line with strategy.
  • Translate business strategy into plant objectives.
  • Support capacity planning, automation, capital investments, and growth initiatives.
  • Align manufacturing capabilities with future business needs.
  • NPI and project management planning execution, leading cross functional and regionals teams, assuring effective stakeholders communication and having risks mitigation plans.
  • Strategic decision making Business and financial acumen for preparation of business cases, budgets, ROI evaluations for operation excellence transformation.

What your background should look like

  • 10+ years’ experience working as an Operational/Plant Leader with proven experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Strong project management planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, effectively managing competing priorities with available resources.
  • Experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
  • Accustomed to having full responsibility for P&L and overseeing key departments including Production, Planning, EHS, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Tooling, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement.
  • Good knowledge of all business processes along the value Chain, their interaction and impact on Operational results
  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong oral and written communications.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Proven operation excellence transformation.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Supply Chain strategies to deliver extraordinary service to Customers and direct communication with Customers.
