Job Overview

This role is responsible for providing support to the plants for setting up new part numbers in SAP and maintenance of current parts.

Key Responsibilities

•    New Product Introductions - Master Data setup for all parts in their respective plants (serve as backup for the other plants when necessary).
•    Production Parts - Master Data maintenance for sustaining changes for all parts in their respective plants (serve as backup for the other plants when necessary).
•    General support for the different requests from other teams (storage locations, distribution channels, shipping points, etc).
•    Responsible for ensuring that all Master Data requests for setup are closed on time.
•    Perform health checks and/or correct any errors found related to BOM / routings / production versions / component allocation / equipment master / etc.

Key Business Partnerships: Finance COEs (Controllers, FP&A, Ops Support, Cost Est.), Operations, Project Management, Materials, Procurement, Customer Service and Engineering functions.
        
Relationships:
•    Position reports directly to the Master Data Supervisor
•    Interacts, supports and supplies expert input with multiple levels / positions in operations, engineering, logistics, materials and finance.

Measures of Performance:
•    Embraces S.E.T. and drives continuous improvement through TEOA-F action items with the team.
•    Completion of Master Data setup in SAP on time.
•    Able to work cross functionally to help drive accuracy in cost (through physical audits and health checks).

Specific Tasks of this Role / Team (not all inclusive)

•    Financial analysis and correction/updates of new and existing parts
•    Support Plant Controllers finding root causes of variances
•    Support Finance, Operations, Materials, Logistics and Engineering requests
•    Support localization projects
•    Provide support to product / project management in regards to cost drivers
•    Additional ad-hoc requests to support the overall business
•    Run Health Checks reports
•    Physical audits 

Background and Skill

•    Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or Finance / Accounting with related manufacturing experience
•    Analysis and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good time management skills.
•    English language proficiency required
