• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or Economics
• Pricing experience preferable
• 5+ years of pricing, product management, or finance.
• Self-motivated, ability to proactively drive business improvements, willingness to adopt new pricing tools and initiate and/or accept changes.
• Able to work with global cross-functional team efforts focused on process implementation & execution.
• Strong PC abilities: expert Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications is required.
• Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software is also a plus.
• Drive results primarily through influencing and collaborating with colleagues and peers
• Able to present the work in a point presentation
• Experience operating and influencing at a planned level and collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders (engineering, product management, finance, and customer service)
• Knowledge of continuous Improvement Tools is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Key Performance Measurements:
• Reduction of Price and Margin Variability across assigned Product Lines
• Reduction of Price and Margin Leakage for assigned Product Lines
• Published Book Price Utilization
• Achievement of Revenue & Margin targets as a function of price actions and strategies
• Year over Year Price Realization or Margin $ Improvement from price actions and strategies.
• Improve special price request response time and reduce responsiveness variation.
• Improve special price request win rate and performance rate.
• Maintain response times within goals across different types of pricing requests.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Able to extract and uncover insights from complex multi-dimensional data and identify relevant patterns using basic analytical
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders
• Results-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
• Commercially and financially savvy
• Excellent skills in verbal, written, and presentation communications to all levels and types of management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (business proficiency)
• Eager to learn
