Product Manager - Account Specialist

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.

This role of Product Manager (PM) for Devices will be part of the Americas Regional Product Management Team and will interact closely with four Regional Product Managers (RPM).  Responsibilities will align to the CPC Series, Board Signal, Board Hybrid and Lighting & Installation product portfolios.  This PM will be located in Hermosillo, MX.  Main responsibilities center around support of the Americas RPM enabling the Team to excel in executing our growth strategies.  While providing this support this PM will learn four different product portfolios and accompanying strategies.  This experience opens a career path to RPM.  The Americas RPM team for IND-Devices collectively has 95 years of experience with TE and much learning to offer this PM.  

This PM will need to take initiative and show flexibility in being able to support multiple assignments given from several RPM at once.  Experiences will be created that are foundational to developing a solid product management skill set.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support of new product introduction activities
  • Preparation of product promotional and training presentations
  • Establishing stronger competitive cross reference database
  • Determining and establishing competitive pricing
  • Partnering with HMO Operations to bring resolution to product issues, delivery, quality, inventory, etc. as needed
  • Partnering with Marketing/Digital to support Go-To-Market strategy execution
  • Enhancing product-related digital content on
  • Conduct market and competitor research and analysis
  • Issuing and execution of material change orders in SAP
  • Assisting with product segmentation and other life cycle management activities
  • Provide product information and samples to customers and sales team as needed
  • Other special projects

Basic Requirements:

  • English at a professional working proficiency
  • University education, Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Marketing and/or business analyst experience preferred (strong public facing skills, able to identify market and competitive trends, product introduction and business development, able to formulate and execute a go to market strategy, can work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales and Marketing)
  • Strong presentation, selling and negotiation skills
  • Fully acquainted with Microsoft Office Suite software



  • SAP knowledge a plus
