Your main responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Business Partnership
- Act as the primary Finance partner to Plant Manager.
- Support operational decision‑making through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance insights.
- Lead financial reviews, explain variances, and ensure transparency for all stakeholders.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Oversee the complete financial cycle for manufacturing operations, including monthly closing, forecasts, standard cost updates, and annual budgets.
- Consolidate site level financials and provide clear bridge analyses between plan, forecast, and actual results.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with TE’s financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
Costing, Productivity & Operational Performance
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and monitor savings delivery in partnership with Operations.
- Support productivity programs, capacity utilization analyses, and make versus buy assessments.
- Validate and maintain accurate standard costs, bill of materials (BOM), and labor/machine rates.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Participate in cross‑functional initiatives including footprint optimization, capital investments, and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop business cases, investment analyses, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Provide financial insights into operational risks and opportunities.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop the plant finance team, ensuring strong analytical capability and business partnership.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data‑driven performance management.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years supporting manufacturing operations.
• Strong experience in manufacturing finance, standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools (SAP preferred).
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills with the ability to influence operational leaders.
• Experience leading teams and working in dynamic, matrixed manufacturing environments.
Location: Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico (100% On-Site)
Relocation Support: Available within Mexico.
