Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Mold Makers apply knowledge of mold design and construction to the construction, conditioning, modification, repair and maintenance of injection and transfer molds, gauges, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures. In some instances they may fabricate new molds by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Mantener funcionando correctamente los moldes, realizar reportes por escrito y seguir los procedimientos e instrucciones de trabajo para garantizar el correcto mantenimiento de los moldes, y la fabricación de piezas a través de las máquinas y herramientas,
cumpliendo con los requerimientos de control y asegurando el buen uso de los recursos de su área mediante la práctica de normas de seguridad y calidad.

Tareas y Responsabilidades:

  • Responsable de ejecutar los mantenimientos preventivos y correctivos a todos los moldes
  • Responsable de cumplir apropiadamente con los mantenimientos preventivos programados
  • Responsable de realizar cambios de insertos a los moldes
  • Responsable de mantener limpios y en buenas condiciones los moldes de inyección
  • Responsable de cumplir con los procedimientos e instrucciones de trabajo para el mantenimiento de los moldes
  • Responsable de documentar correctamente cualquier modificación y/o reparaciones que haya hecho al molde
  • Responsable de reportar cualquier daño en los moldes o situaciones inseguras
  • Responsable de fabricar partes, fixturas a través de las maquinas y herramientas (torno, rectificadora, fresadora)
  • Responsable en trabajar bajo los estándares de seguridad y 5’s
