Job Requirements
- Analyzing and approving purchase orders, coordinating logistics and warehouse operations, and ensuring material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels while optimizing costs.
- Providing direction according to established policies and management guidance, administering company policies directly affecting operations, and recommending policy changes.
- Executing inventory plans to meet business objectives and monitoring continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
- Ensuring data accuracy in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems, developing and implementing system enhancement plans and initiatives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities |

Ensure end‑to‑end planning accuracy by maintaining planning parameters, material availability visibility, and timely inputs required for an executable production plan. Lead backlog analysis and PDR reduction initiatives, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to stabilize material flow. Drive improvements in On‑Time Delivery (OTD) through cross‑functional alignment with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, and Customer Service. Oversee and develop the local planning team, fostering discipline, ownership, and data‑driven decision making. Provide the MPS team with accurate supply constraints, risks, recovery plans, and exception management to support master production planning. Maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to enable visibility of planning performance and operational risks for local and global stakeholders. Collaborate with global supply chain teams to align planning rules, parameters, and improvement initiatives that enhance execution at the local level. Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, leveraging Lean, problem‑solving methodologies, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Education and Experience Requirements |
|
7–10 years in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Production Planning or MRP. Experience in high-mix or high-volume manufacturing environments. Proven leadership of planning teams. Strong understanding of S&OP, planning parameters, and material flow #LI-Onsite Hermosillo |
