Job Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to support the successful on-time implementation of logistics projects that are sustainable, flexible, robust, and exceed the customer’s and TE’s requirements
- Support Global Logistics, Americas management team and senior project managers in developing and/or managing operational metrics and measurements to ensure operations and costs are managed to and achieving targeted metrics and goals
- Establish team goals and manage team performance against those goals
- Manage team to meet daily schedules for purchasing, planning, receiving, and shipping
- Operate within the ISO system
- Maintain department procedures
- Direct team in implementing Lean concepts
- Coordinate with Engineering and Sales on new product introductions
- Manage vendor base, supplier performance, and purchase pricing
- Manage item parameters to optimize the planning system
- Manage team to maximize responsiveness while ensuring accuracy
- Participate in budget and capital planning
- Create personnel training plans
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related
- 7+ years of experience as Logistics Manager.
- Experience and management in materials flow.
- Experience and management inventories (Inventory Discrepancies, Physical Inventory
- Materials Replanishment Flow Strategies
- Experience and management in warehouse operations.
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry (Automotive preferred)
- Technical experience in logistical fields
- Good supervisory skills
- Ability to communicate well with peers and subordinates
- Ability to set goals and manage projects
- Proven experience with people management (+40)
- English: Advanced
- SAP
- Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
- IATF-16949 Norm knowledge is a plus
