Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.
What your background should look like:
Requires bachelor’s degree on engineering or appropriate field with 8-10 years of proven experience; Master’s degree is a plus; proven lean methodologies expertise as well six sigma knowledge / certification.
Responsibilities
• Gaining commitment from the key stakeholders by engaging them in all phases of continuous improvement initiatives; Analysing stakeholders’ feedback to identify further improvement opportunities.
• Identifying potential areas that can be improved through various methods including lean methodologies, analysing cost structures and workflows, and value stream mapping.
• Planning and managing continuous improvement projects and initiatives by defining project objectives and aligning them with business goals.
• Researching and communicating continuous improvement best practices across the industry, promoting a continuous improvement mindset within the team.

- Gemba Kaizen/Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of the concepts and principles of Gemba Kaizen methodology; ability to identify and eliminate manufacturing waste through iterative improvements to processes.
- Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
