Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

This position reports to the Manager, Logistics Operations and Execution 

As a Global Supply Chain Logistics Analyst on our North America Automotive Logistics team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

•    Manage control tower program and support the enhancement of in-transit visibility 
•    Champion last mile operations and leverage process improvement tools to stimulate customer experience improvements 
•    Lead and manage a team of highly skilled analyst 
•    Lead and coordinate daily premium freight request to drive mode selection and cost efficiencies 
•    Cultivate and support logistics planning, forecasting, and performance management modeling to improve end-to-end supply chain performance
•    Coordinate and analyze supply chain logistics operational metrics and provide feedback and solutions on trends, risks and opportunities to leadership. Analyze delivery network to identify expense reduction opportunities.; Research on-time performance deficiencies. Work directly with Supply Chain Leadership in developing corrective plans of action
•    Support business case development, analysis and implementation tracking to ensure benefits are robust and mutually exclusive across business segments.
•    Provide detailed volume/spend analytics to support the team and recommend vendor selection/allocation.
•    Liaison with key logistics suppliers to maintain industry insights and trouble shoot logistics issues.
•    Manage projects and develop supply chain capabilities with little direction
•    Perform root cause analysis, develop and implement corrective action plans to improve supply chain network performance
•    Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies throughout the end-to-end supply chain network using a data driven approach

What your background should look like:
•    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Mgmt, Industrial engineering, or Logistics and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Equivalent work experience in supply chain logistics, airline, Freight forwarding, or integrated logistics provider (UPS or FDX) experience. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
•    Deep Knowledge of Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain processes
•    Strong understanding of SAP
•    Strong analytical skills 
•    Strong communication skills (Bilingual – English and Spanish)
•    Experience in the Automotive industry and managing FG components and raw material logistics from around the around the world 
•    Travel up to 10 to 25%

•    Dashboarding, DAX, Excel Macros
•    Six Sigma, process mapping, or formal training in any process improvement methodology 
•    APICS Certification – CLTD, CSCP, CPIM
