Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

This position consists of overall logistics activities related to the logistics operations and customer service
 

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:
•    Logistics operations in the warehouse
•    Plan and release the DC daily workload.
•    Manage max/min kanban system
•    Inventory management 
•    Root cause system
•    Management of On-Time Delivery.
•    Communication and Coordination with the customs team to have a better flow of material.
•    Support on warehouse operations assisting the shipping team.
•    Follows the rules and regulations of TE, EHS, and Global Logistics.

What your background should look like: 
•    BS in Industrial Engineering or related to Logistics
•    With at least 2 years of experience and practitioner in the field of Logistics.
•    Must have experience and background in Inventory Management, Kanban system, Materials Flow. 
•    SAP knowledge or any related ERP System/Application, Advanced Excel Skills
•    Basic English verbal and written
•    Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
•    Sense of urgency
•    Strong teambuilding skills with the warehouse team to achieve quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration.
•    Results oriented. Relies on fact-based logic for decisions-making
