Responsibilities and authority
Developer and support for Digital Tools for Data analytics into production process.
Deliver projects on time and to the expected level of quality.
Report on project activities, findings, results, quantify and report savings of digital tools implementation.
Support the customer (Operations) care organization on tactical activities as required.
Functions like monitor, take actions as necessary in response to problems or abnormal program terminations and manage local Data bases dedicated with information obtained for different production process and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems on digital tools issues.
Provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer (Operations) to appropriate technical personnel, develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures.
At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and equipment installations.
Authority to stop a process in which there is the possibility of harming the environment or/and that is outside environmental legal compliance.
Carries out actions to reduce environmental impact, as well as activities for compliance with the ISO14001 standard.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, IT Engineering or related fields.
+1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. prefered
Specific qualification, knowledge and skills
Ability to perform in various projects as well as being a support person to backfill customer care professionals when required.
Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
SQL Database, C#, Javascript expertise. (manejador/administrador de base de datos y lenguaje de programación)
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Good communication / Presenting and speaking skills.
Fluent in English (verbally and written).
Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
SAP or ERP system knowledge is a plus.
Experience on developing with Arduino/Rasperry Pie is a plus.
PLC and HMI programing knowledge is a plus.
MES knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of Safety and Environment Regulations and the environmental management system that apply to the company.
