Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s IT Project Management Teams lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation, modification and support of IT projects that span across functional organizations. They prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meet technical requirements of the assignment. TE’s IT Project Management Teams remain informed about current advances in the IT Field. They also provide program management oversight and guidance to team members. TE’s IT Project Management Teams also include IT Analysts, who are responsible for supporting key IT processes, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT project management. IT Analysts provide support to our IT Project Management Teams by using their IT skills to implement and support tools and processes needed to meet project management and general IT requirements.

Long Description

The Aerospace Defense and Marine (AD&M) Business Unit of TE Connectivity are leaders in the development and engineering of a comprehensive portfolio of electrical connectors, wires, cables, antennas, circuit protectors and moldings for harsh environments. We have a global customer base with over 5500 employees to deliver a broad range of solutions.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated IT Analyst II- Hydra Admin to join the AD&M Manufacturing Team in Hermosillo. This will be a Plant based assignment with an emphasis on Hydra administration, middleware sustaining and databases accuracy.

As part of the AD&M team, you will be joining a group of professionals who are passionate about ensuring the future growth of the business while maintaining integrity, taking accountability, working together and continually improving to ensure constant innovation and openness to change. 


Key responsibilities include: Working with the DMS and engineering teams to identify and document High Value project opportunities, work with the analysis of manufacturing data to create digital enabled savings and process improvements.  Validate production rates, collaborate with TEOA (Continuous improvement) to eliminate waste, improve quality and OEE in the manufacturing lines, and serve as the plant focal point for analyzing engineering needs and requests.

Additional responsibilities:

•Responsible for the administration of Hydra in 47machines, including maintenance of users, work centres, tooling, SAP-Hydra interface and assuring functionality to sustain the system capability of an MES in HMO at site level.
•OEE Report monitoring on 47 Machines
•Keep up to date of TE enterprise ready-to-deploy Hydra solutions knowledge and become self-sufficient for project executions according to strategic priorities and roadmap,
•Partnership with VS and Functional managers to define scope of improvements, proposals, estimation on cost and scheduling, risk management, etc,
•Own the technical knowledge of the project to work directly with End Users/ Customers / business representatives to bridge Enterprise solutions with business process and requirement,
•Supply subject matter expertise to the whole project lifecycle from business process mapping, project requirement analysis, feasibility study & proposal, system setup / configuration, user trainings, and user testing, to successful production go-live.
•Responsible for the technical issue resolution with proactive collaboration with members from multiple external teams includes but not limited to development & architecture team, infrastructure team, ERP team etc. and timely close-loop feedback to customer / business representatives.
•Participate digital workshops /Webinars / Knowledge Sharing & Transfer sessions to provide consultant, recommendations and become valuable champion to our Digital Factory community and network.

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor in IT, Engineering, Manufacturing Automation is a plus. 
• 3+ years’ experience as developer and data base administrator
•Bilingual English/Spanish
•Must possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize and communicate with all levels of organization. 
•Ability to adapt to and enjoy an inclusive & diverse global working environment and collaborate with team members from multiple countries virtually in different time zone.
•Must be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment to achieve prescribed deliverables. 
•Strong coordination, Learning and Problem-solving ability
•Good understanding on Industry 4.0, MES (Hydra solutions knowledge), IoT platforms
•Strong skills in SAP
• Proven knowledge & Skills on Oracle and SQL etc. database technology.
• Good understanding on ERP systems
• Good understanding on project management methodology (agile, waterfall) is a plus.
