Gathers financial information, analyzes them, and prepares financial reports that contribute to the plant's strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support business leaders in Annual & Monthly budgeting, forecasting, cost management and control for the Plants operations (American region).
• Serve as a key member of the plant/region Leadership Team, regularly participating in driving the Plant operations and compliance for growth and success of the business.
• Identify gaps and reasons for variance communicated early and that appropriate actions are taken to meet the business financial commitments.
• Make recommendations for potential solution and improvements. Promote the active use of financial data to drive business success, and continuously identify and make visible all potential risks and opportunities.
• Oversee month-end close process through journal entry reviews, variance analysis to forecast/budget, and account reconciliation reviews.
• Manage the forecasting, budgeting and annual recosting.
• Manage preparation and delivery of all financial information related with plant performance, including standard costs and hourly rate, CERs, cost improvements, in compliance with TE Financial manual policies and practices.
• Support the vertical integration and localization with value added analysis.
• Maintain compliance with TE accounting policies focused on maintaining the strong control environment around inventory and fixed assets areas.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly results for management.
• Perform cost center control, including cost center accounting, cost accounting, cost savings review and tracking including developing and support operation KPI’S for remaining operation in the region.
• Provide service and support in terms of analysis and numbers for all the departments and all reasonable needs, e.g., conversion cost, productivity, or TEOA.
• Support Global supply chain analysis and KPIS including cost reduction initiatives program such Freight/custom and other logistic optimization.
KEY EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTE
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance (master’s degree preferred but not required)
• +5 years of experience in operations finance and accounting within a manufacturing plant (Global company experience a plus)
• Progressive experience in finance
• Cost accounting experience preferred.
• Very strong SAP manufacturing experience in a large mfg. site,
• Fluent in English (verbally and in writing), Spanish is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• Hyperion: tableau/TED/SAC are a plus.
