Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

What your background should look like:

  • Industrial, environmental engineer or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar position
  • SAP, OFFICE   
  • English (written and spoken)

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Analysis of information in the Velocity system and generation of statistical reports focused on continuous improvement.
  • Follow-up and compliance with action plans, findings and projects. 
  • Audits and support in production areas and plant in general.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements of suppliers, contractors and facilities.
  • Delivery of courses; induction and various H&S topics.
  • Control of H&S metrics (BBS, NH, audits, training, etc.).
  • SAFE program leadership to ensure compliance.
  • Implementation of Management of Change (MOC) and personnel and/or equipment movements.
  • Risk analysis of machinery, equipment and processes and their control.
  • SAFE leadership and compliance.
  • Statistical analysis of BBS and near-miss in the velocity system.
  • Carrying out savings projects focused on EHS.
  • Providing induction to contractors and new hires.
  • Review and implementation of work standards and medical services procedures.
  • MOC analysis and releases
  • Floor audits to identify risk control opportunities
  • Compliance with ergonomic analysis program 
  • Punctual attendance to required meetings.
  • Follow-up on corrective actions for timely closure.
  • Leadership with health and safety committee and development of training for commissioners
  • Cross audits between areas with VSM
  • Participate actively in Gemba and 5s
  • Massive trainings for personnel
  • Development of improvements in procedures
