DEMAND ANALYST III

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.

Roles and responsibilities

 

  • Facilitate monthly consensus discussions between Sales, Product Management and Operations
  • Communicate forecasted demand change impacts to operations and supply chain
  • Actively manage demand forecast by region for assigned products, making adjustments as needed based on cross-functional input  
  • Maintain quarterly stocking strategy updates across multiple plants with input from supply chain and product management 
  • Ad-Hoc analysis on large datasets for meaningful business insights
  • Partner with finance on annual budgeting process and quarterly recommits with an assigned strategic product portfolio
  • Manage a monthly calendar with multiple participants and deliverables

 

 

Experience and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years’ experience in demand management, supply chain, or sales operations
  • Knowledge of MRP, Demand Management, and S&OP processes 
  • Understanding of statistical forecasting methods and terminology
  • Experience with forecasting/analytical tools, preferably SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Strong business analytic and data management skills, high level MS Excel proficiency at a minimum 
  • Strong communication skills, including fluency in the English language
  • Experience in working with a global team preferred
  • Ability to work in an international environment, including the ability to occasionally work non-traditional hours
