What your background should look like:

Requirements

  •    Industrial Engineer or related
  •    +2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  •    A strong background in Engineering, Leans Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
  •    Advanced English.
  •    1-2 years of experience related to continuous improvement practices.
  •    Methodical and Analytic oriented.
  •    Experience in achieving deadlines and commitments.
  •    A team player with strong communication & stakeholder relationship management skills
  •    Assertive communication, verbally and visually to a variety of audiences.
  •    Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing.
  •    Strong analysis and decision-making experience and ability.

 

Responsibilities and authority:

  •    Experience working on improvements of workflows and layouts identifying opportunities for waste and bottleneck elimination following Creating Continuous Flow, 3P and Making Material flow methodologies to reduce lead time and create value.
  •    Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
  •    Experience on Kaizen Event focus on 5S, Quick Changeover (SMED), TPM, VSM&D, Replenishment Pull System, conveyance routes and problem solving tools. 
  •    Knowledge on Problem solving methodologies and data analysis to improve manufacturing process performance, investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  •    Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
  •    Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  •    Skills for train and coach engineers on continuous improvement methodologies and ensure Kaizen Event success.
  •    Experience on time studies, operator balance chart, capacity study and cell design.
  •    Work closely with the engineering and operations leaders to integrate continuous improvement processes as part of lean manufacturing and continues improving activities. Be an agent of change.
