Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

The TESS Regional Supply Chain Manager, under the support from Director, Global Supply Chain, is responsible for supply chain simplification, identifying supply chain process gaps and driving improvement projects to reduce supply chain cost and improve delivery flexibility towards our customers. This role is immensely important to our business as we need continued support and expertise to drive and help site Supply Chain teams to meet their commitments to our customers.


Responsibilities & Qualifications 


Key responsibilities:


•    Lead regional S&OP supply review, drive and audit supply review at sites; Be responsible for regional STR and STS
•    Implement, monitor and improve regional inventory strategy and inventory Level throughout the sites; Be responsible for inventory turn, inventory health and POE at regional level
•    Work with TEOA team to analyze existing supply chain processes, identify process gaps, drive improvement projects related to STR and STS improvement, inventory/freight cost reduction and LT reduction in the region
•    Be a SC Functional Leader in the region to guide and support the site and business in the region.
•    Be responsible for standard configuration of SAP MM, SD, PP and other SC related module in the region, and be an liaison between sites/regions and TEIS/SAP team
•    Be an active business partner with product management, customer care, manufacturing sites, finance, and sales


What your background should look like:

Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

•    Bachelor degree in supply chain management or equivalent
•    At least 10 years of practical supply chain experience and planning background
•    Experience with SAP a MUST
•    Exposure to TE processes and structures would be a benefit
•    Excellent relation management and (English) communication skills
•    Analytical thinker with the ability to execute on priorities
•    Project leader skills and natural ability to influence people
•    Ability to work deadlines and challenging targets
•    Good understanding of cross-functional processes and matrix organization
•    Strong business acumen and good commercial understanding
•    Flexibility in working hours and travelling
•    Ability and desire to navigate an ambiguous space and have positive impact

Hermosillo, Mexico is preferred location, but this position is open to any qualified candidate throughout North America. International relocation will not be supported.
