Job Overview
What your background should look like:
AS THE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER, A TYPICAL DAY MAY INCLUDE:
• Establishing weekly goals and objectives in order to provide organizational visibility on key metrics and attainment.
• Actively tracking results and implementing actions to drive improvement in delivery and inventory management.
• Managing supplier’s expectations and performance
• Coaching developing and engaging team members to excel at their roles
• Participating in cross-functional projects to review and implement continuous improvement projects across the facility
• Participate in monthly supply reviews and other supply chain activities
• Freight/logistic management
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
• Min 5 years of experience in operations or supply chain logistics and people management
• Prior planning and buying experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally with low volume/high product mix)
• SAP experience or similar ERP knowledge
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Prior experience managing and developing a team
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and suppliers. Use of Outlook/Teams/ZOOM platforms a must.
• Solid influencing skills, particularly where there is no reporting relationship
• Understanding of logistics, financial, and operational performance data
