Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
What your background should look like:



Set clear tasks and targets to improve performance; plan and implement solutions.

Production Areas Distribution (Layout).

Analyze and solve problems to ensure continuous improvement within the cell to improve costs, lead-times, quality, process capability and productivity.

Assist Quality Assurance and Production  to establish the appropriate quality level for all prototype, pre-production and production.

Develop and maintain time studies and routings.

Perform time studies, line balance and eliminate non-value-added operations.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing Practices & Methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Cell Design).

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Assist Product Management for prototype, Pre-production, Production.




Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 

5 years of experience in similar role in Manufacturing Industry

Lean Manufacturing experience.

English Advanced

Experience with Cost Reduction Projects (Continuous Improvement)
