Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
What your background should look like:

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze factory order variances at project and part # level and implement corrective actions
Manage purchase price variances, duties, scrap costs, obsolete stock and inventory risks
Provide improved financial insight for ISG LT
Manage financial reporting for Rt 230 
Manage new project migrations from Rt 230, ensure all costs fully planned & forecast. 
Act as finance partner for Global VAP Ops Lead
Provide support on financial analysis and reporting for Global VAP Operations
Provide concise, accurate explanations (and corrective action plans) for P&L variances 
Analyze, review and optimize freight costs
Manage plant headcount to Plan
Work with Ops team to drive robust TEBIT pipeline development and delivery
Provides financial support to Sr VAP Global Finance Lead.

Required Profile:

Education:  Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, concentration in accounting / finance. 
Bilingual English-Spanish
Knowledge requirements:  cost accounting, general accounting and financial reporting. Forecasting, spreadsheet and database with multiple entities.  SAP experience a plus.
Skills:  analytical and problem solving, strong oral and written communications skills, organization skills 
Experience:  5-7 years’ experience in accounting positions, with significant cost accounting experience for a large manufacturing company.  Previous financial analysis experience a plus.
Part/Demonstrated commercial bias, biz partnering experience Accountant, strong cost accounting capability.
