Job Overview

TE's Payroll teams prepare, document and disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. They evaluate current systems, and recommend and develop operating efficiency improvements. They also serve as liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies, monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments and deductions and prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including items such as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities: • Supervise data for the preparation of the weekly payroll, permits, vacations, disabilities, deductions, special payments, salary adjustments, etc. • Carry out all the weekly payroll transfer processes to the bank and generate the PR to finance so that the payments are executed. • Generate weekly internal reports of the payroll system and keep databases updated, make personnel movements of areas or departments that are requested by production. • Send the payroll reports that correspond to the Employees Solidarity Association. • Provide the collaborators with customer service in the inquiries of benefits and related payroll, as well as the generation of letters and / or different documents required by them to present to different institutions. • Carry out the entire process of entering new employees into the company's systems: Softland, SAP, Building Entrance System, Scoreboard, inclusion in the INS. • Make an account opening request for new collaborators.   • Exclude personnel leaving the company from all systems and generate settlement calculations and go to Accounting for execution. • Weekly archive the different documents that are generated from all collaborators. • Prepare and send monthly reports from the Costa Rican Social Security Fund and the National Insurance Institute.  

Education and Experience: • Minimum Bachelor of College, preferable with a University Degree in Secretariat, Human Resources, Accounting or related career. • Preferably with 2 years of experience in similar tasks. • Advanced english level • Ability to work in a teamwork environment.
