HEMS Business Development & PMO Senior Manager

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

 

The Senior Manager of the HEMS business will facilitate and drive the discipline of the Hybrid and Electric Mobility Solutions (HEMS) business process including Monthly Business Review (MBR), Monthly NPI Project Review, Monthly Capacity/Demand Review, Product Portfolio Review (bi-annual), Business Strategy Review (annual), Technology Roadmap (Annual) and Business Pipeline Review (PrePAC). Most of these business reviews are presented to the automotive general managers and functional VPs.
In addition, the senior manager will also spend a portion of the time helping develop business for the adjacent products in the xEVs such as sensor, LV T&C and tubing products.
 
The senior manager reports directly to the VP, Automotive HEMS Business.

 

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities
 

  • Own and enhance the current HEMS business process 
  •  Facilitate and drive the discipline of many highly visible business reviews
  •  Establish and implement business KPIs to continuously improve the business efficiency
  •  Proactively engage with selected EV customers, including activities such as new opportunity discussion and senior-level communication to help adjacent product business growth
  •  Collaborate with all HEMS product managers across regions, adjacent product groups, and HEMS functional teams 
  •  With the knowledge of the market/customer needs and the adjacent products, work with the product managers to develop the product needs and requirements together
  •  Foster an environment of continuous learning, and encouraging global collaboration in a geographically and culturally dispersed organization with a strong view on continuous improvement

What your background should look like:

 

  • BS/BA in Engineering or Business degree, MS/MBA is preferred

  • More than 10 years of experience in business process, project management or product management fields

  • Experienced working with automotive customers

  • Experienced in project management and business process

  • Demonstrated ability to form successful working relationships and motivate all levels of the organization

  • Fast learner, able to quickly familiarize her/himself with existing methods and practices and new concepts/ideas

  • Team oriented working style with proven track record in organization and planning skills

  • Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking and analytical skills

  • Strong business acumen & strategic mindset

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to customers and internal leadership teams

  • Strong team formation and leadership skills

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $138,100 – $170,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
